Meet & Greet

I guess I should feel lucky for being given the opportunity to present His Majesty the programme booklet as well as assisting Zati with the pesambah for His Highness. I guess I should also be proud for not tripping on the few stairs up the stage or dropping the pretty heavy pesambah in front of everyone. I did feel embarassed (to be in front of everyone and on screen) and really nervous (to be in front of His Majesty) but who wouldn’t?

But I was also really tired (lack of sleep and feet actually hurt from standing) from having to stand-by at the front of the ball room–for practically the whole event–and not being able to mingle around with friends and be in group photos; only when the Sultan left the Hilton did I actually get to rest.

It was a tiring (and strange, yes) day and I wasn’t too keen on being picked for it but hey, when else will I get the same chances I got with the Sultan? 🙂

p.s. Thanks for the £250! 😀
